August 2025 Issue: Pixel People
UI/UX, digital illustrators, virtual world builders, code & canvas.
Designing in the Digital Flesh
In our August 2025 issue, Artimnas dives deep into the pixelated playgrounds of creativity. Pixel People is all about those who shape virtual realities, design intuitive interfaces, and draw stories on digital canvases. From UX designers to generative artists, digital illustrators to game world builders—this issue celebrates those who breathe life into pixels.
We’re spotlighting the thinkers and makers building worlds, systems, and visual languages where humanity meets the screen.
Why?
Digital design is no longer just a tool—it’s a universe. Pixel People explores how creative minds work at the intersection of interface and emotion, aesthetic and logic, beauty and code. Whether it’s a character rigged for a VR experience, a layout that guides millions through an app, or an artwork generated with AI, it all begins with intention—and a lot of pixels.
This issue uncovers:
-
UI/UX practices that go beyond utility into artistry
-
Digital illustration and the evolving nature of “drawing”
-
Code-based art, generative visuals, and creative computation
-
Designers building digital ecosystems, virtual environments, and speculative spaces
-
The emotional and psychological impact of interface design
-
The aesthetics of the feed, the grid, the glitch, and the scroll
It matters because ……
As our lives become increasingly virtual, digital design doesn’t just shape experiences—it shapes reality. From the way we communicate and consume to how we learn, move, play, and even mourn—pixels are the new material. They guide our choices, influence our emotions, and build the environments we spend most of our time in.
Designers in this realm hold incredible power and responsibility. This issue asks: What does it mean to be human in a pixel-driven world? And how can design keep that humanity intact?
This issue is for UI/UX designers crafting beautiful, accessible, and meaningful digital experiences—whether for mobile apps, web platforms, games, or experimental software.
It’s for digital illustrators and visual storytellers who sketch with styluses and color with layers, creating imaginative universes one brush tool at a time.
We also welcome creative coders, generative artists, and developers who work at the edge of aesthetics and algorithms—those whose canvas is made of code and whose visuals evolve in real time.
And finally, this issue is for the virtual world builders—the ones dreaming up immersive 3D spaces, interactive realities, and speculative futures in which design becomes architecture, performance, and narrative all at once.
If your creativity lives somewhere between screen, sensation, and system, this is your moment.

We’re inviting designers, artists, and digital creators from across the world to be part of Pixel People, our August 2025 issue. This edition of Artimnas is dedicated to the boundary-pushers in the digital space—those who don’t just work with pixels, but shape how people feel, think, and move through virtual environments.
If you’re a UI/UX designer, digital illustrator, creative coder, or virtual world builder, we want to hear your story. Whether you’re developing human-centered interfaces, drawing entirely in digital layers, crafting game environments, or writing generative scripts that create evolving visuals—your work belongs in this issue. We’re looking for creators who see screens as spaces for emotion, imagination, and interaction.
We believe every creator has a unique relationship with their tools, process, and purpose. That’s why we don’t rely on generic forms. Instead, every contributor receives a bespoke editorial questionnaire, tailored specifically to your medium, practice, and perspective. This becomes the foundation for a feature that’s not just a portfolio—it’s a deeply personal narrative about your creative journey.
We’re also gathering visuals that reflect your world—screenshots, sketches, works-in-progress, virtual landscapes, UI flows, coding snippets, or even moodboards that inspire your aesthetic. These visuals will be beautifully curated alongside your story in the print issue.
We’re especially keen to feature those who are reimagining digital creativity—those whose work connects systems with soul, code with craft, or interface with identity. If you’re pushing the limits of digital design in your own unique way, this is your invitation to be seen, read, and remembered.
Let’s map the future of design—one pixel, one story, one person at a time.
Be part of the issue that archives tomorrow’s digital creativity—today.
