Pitch Yourself
The Artimnas Podcast is where traditional wisdom, digital innovation, and artificial creativity come together in real conversation. We feature thinkers, makers, and voices across the design spectrum—craftspeople, researchers, futurists, educators, coders, artists, and culture-shapers—who are shifting the narrative in their own way.
Whether you’re a well-known name or an emerging talent, if you have something thoughtful, bold, or beautifully strange to share, we’d love to hear from you.
Have a story, perspective, or project that the world needs to hear?
How the Selection Works
At Artimnas, a podcast guest isn’t just someone who talks—we’re looking for voices that resonate, perspectives that provoke thought, and stories that stretch the imagination. Our selection process is editorial, intentional, and deeply human-centered. Here’s how it works:
1. Initial Pitch
Your journey begins with the short pitch form. This is where we get a first glimpse into who you are, what you want to share, and why it matters. You don’t have to overthink it—just speak honestly and clearly about the themes you care about and the conversation you want to bring to life. We read every pitch carefully, looking for clarity, originality, and relevance to our upcoming issues.
2. Extended Editorial Questionnaire
If your pitch feels aligned, we’ll send you a deeper questionnaire. This goes beyond the surface to understand the layers of your practice—what motivates you, what’s shifting in your work, how you think about your tools, culture, context, and the future. These answers help us shape the tone and arc of the episode to feel intentional and rich with perspective.
3. Guest Discovery Call (Fit & Chemistry Check)
Next comes a casual but important step: the conversation. This is a short, exploratory call—sometimes called a “chemistry read” in editorial or media contexts. We’re listening not just for what you say, but how you say it. Do you enjoy thinking aloud? Are you reflective, candid, or curious? We want to ensure our podcast captures your voice at its most authentic, and that there’s a natural ease between guest and host.
4. Tech Setup Trial
Before we record, we’ll schedule a short tech check to make sure your environment, microphone, and connection work for clean audio. No need for a professional studio—just a quiet room, a stable setup, and a little guidance (which we’re happy to provide). This step ensures your episode sounds as good as it feels.
5. The Recording
Once everything’s aligned, we lock in a recording slot. Sessions typically run 45–60 minutes and are done remotely unless otherwise planned. We edit the episodes to maintain flow, clarity, and mood—so don’t worry about sounding “perfect.” The aim is to make space for real, layered, sometimes messy conversation that feels alive.
6. Final Review & Release
You’ll be notified before your episode airs and get a heads-up on any promotional features or editorial coverage (including if you’re profiled in our print issue or blog). Select guests may also be invited to future events, panels, or follow-up formats.
Note:
We only publish voices that align with our editorial tone and values. If your pitch isn’t selected, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t valuable—just that the timing or fit wasn’t right. You’re always welcome to pitch again for another issue.
